Breathe to Calm

Use your breath to calm a distracted mind. Try not to engage in the thoughts. Just notice them and then let them go, bringing your attention back to the breath as it moves in & out of your body.

Here are a couple ways you can focus on your breath:
  • Count the time to it takes to inhale and match it with the exhale.
  • Notice the sensations your breath brings like the movement of the body, the temperature of the air, mental clarity, emotional release, etc. Ex: Cool air in; warm air out.
